Kristen Stewart Best Looks

Kristen's known for her laidback causal looks, but she these past two years she has really pulled out all the stops!

Firstly she appeared on The Tonight Show, in a Peter Pilotto dress, (who seems to be a very popular designer at the moment), this particular dress is from his King of Print's Resort collection 2013. Covered in vibrant multi-coloured zig zags it appears fun and flirty yet adds a multi-cultural Aztec edge. She completed the look by pulling her tousled hair back into a ponytail and slipped on some black heels, these simplistic touches, complimented her beautifully.

Kristen took a risk at the premiere for 'Cosmopolis', by wearing a bright crimson Reem Acra gown. The floor length dress had a plunging V-neckline (a big risk for a wardrobe malfunction) and sheer red lace at the back. With a touch of red lipstick, Kristen was the height of sophistication.

Elie Saab is another designer whom seemed popular amongst the stars during 2012/3. Kristen shone (literally) in a sequined gold, floor grazing gown, raising the bar for Hollywood glamour. Ditching those quilted jackets and jeans really worked out well!
Now for my favourite look, from Breaking Dawn Part 1 LA premiere, Stewart flaunted a purple/blue slited dress from J.Mendel's Spring/Summer Ready-To-Wear collection 2012. The shoes were also a fashion statement, she wore Jimmy Choo Vibe Platform peep-toe heels which were a perfect choice.

The Snow White and the Huntsman star, hit the press junket at Arundel Castle wearing a Pre-fall 2012 Preen Ingrid dress. The orange wool dress has a cobalt lace overlay and a bloc coloured blue back. She completed with look with a pair of electric blue heels.

Keira Knightley's Best Looks

My second celebrity best looks, is on the beautiful English Rose, Keira Knightley!

Firstly my ABSOLUTE favourite dress is the Erdem gown she wore for the LA premiere of Anna Karenina. The pale mint green silk really flatters her pale flawless skin. The blue and purple flowering detail at the bust and the hemline adds an eastern edge.

So you might think I've gone a bit crazy, because this dress isn't on the red carpet, but features in the film 'Atonement', when Keira plays Cecilia Tallis. I HAD to include it, it is beautiful. The dark green silk dress with a ruche effect around the waist, along with thin straps and a plunging back, is perfect for Keira's slim figure.

Another floor length gown she pulled off perfectly was the deep red Burberry dress slashed to the navel, for the premiere of 'A Dangerous Method'. The dress had ruched short sleeves and a black bowed sash/belt.

Next up is a  pretty summer number she wore for LA after party of Anna Karenina. Keira was said to be somewhat out of her comfort zone in this woven jacquard neon coral dress, from Richard Nicoll's Spring/Summer collection. Think she looks pretty comfortable to me.

Keira dazzled fans in an Elie Saab gown, from the designer's fall collection. The lace detail is beautiful and the narrower belt pulls in her waist, resulting in a sophisticated silhouette. The black beading sewn all across
the dress makes it unique from other lace dresses.

Emma Watson's best looks

We all know Emma Watson to be one of the most stylish actresses around, so I have delved into her red carpet looks to show you some of my favourites!!

I think we can all agree she looked amazing in this black silk cut out satin draped dress by Prabal Gurang. A dress which revealed a lot of skin, but somehow she managed to look completely sophisticated.
This next dress is a bit like Marmite you either love it, or hate it. In my opinion I completely ADORED this dress by Peter Pilotto, this complicated graphic thigh skimming dress really accentuates her petite figure. An extremely difficult dress to pull off Watson, so well done!!!!

So I understand that this look is from a couple of years ago but it is by far my favourite dress. By the designer Ozzi Clark it's a 1960/70's vintage silk dress. However a few wardrobe malfunctions did occur as the dress was belted across the middle which held (or didn't) the dress together.

Another blast from the past, Emma at Burberry's fashion show in London. Turning up in a metallic gold Burberry mini dress she turned heads by looking right on trend but also by looking youthful and fun.

She takes centre stage here at Cannes film festival at The Bling Ring premiere. Wearing a monochrome Chanel number with a sequined bust and a cut out back she managed yet again to look sophisticated and glamorous. She jazzed up the dress by wearing a 3 pieced ring and 3 cuffed earrings on the top of her ear.

She showcased another graphic print dress by Maxime Simoens which appeared to have a tie dye effect at the bust and the hemline with some black platform heels, as she collected her Trailblazer award at the MTV Movie Awards.

Summer fashion DON'Ts

I'm no fashion expert, but here is my list of fashion DON'Ts for this summer.
  1. Wear shorts that don't cover your bum cheeks-I feel so uncomfortable when I see girls walking about with what appears to be a square of material covering their downstairs. It is not attractive to flaunt your bum in public, under any circumstance.
  2. Socks with Sandals-If it's warm why wear socks, if it's cold why wear sandals. You can't possibly need a mixture of both!
  3. Uggs-When you wear these with shorts/a skirt you are mixing two seasons of fashion together. It's a recipe for disaster.
  4. Showing too much skin all at once-Be careful how much skin you show at once, you don't want to expose too much. Steer clear of showing bare arms, stomach and legs all at once (unless you are wearing a bikini of course)
  5. Too much fake tan- Remember it’s a healthy glow, not the rolled in a bag of Dorito's look you want to go for.
  6.  Double Denim- One toned denim isn't a good decision, as it lacks in colour. However two toned double denim can look very fashionable, but be careful about what shades you put together.
  7.  Horizontal Stripes-Stripes give the illusion of curves, so if you're apple shaped you want to avoid stripes as they will make you appear wider.
  8. Using tights as trousers-Tights are a much much thinner material to trousers and reveal a lot more, try leggings instead.
  9. Sunglasses-Don't wear sunglasses that are too big for your face, this can look very unflattering and draw attention away from all your others facial features. Pick sunglasses that built for your face shape.
  10. Bra Straps-If you know the outfit you're wearing will expose your bra straps then try opting for a strapless bra OR stick on bra OR clear bra straps.
